Our online courses feature weekly class schedules with no set login times. Our mobile app expands your access.


Classes start every month with mostly 8-week formats, so you can begin on your schedule.


AMU evaluates and applies transfer credit for eligible academic coursework, job experience, ACE-evaluated training, CLEP credits, and military and public safety academy training, including POST, FLETA, BLET, or IFSAC®.

Making Education Affordable for You & Your Family

Per Undergrad Course

Both you and your family members are eligible for the Fraternal Order of Police partner tuition and fee rate: $926.25 per 3-credit course for undergraduate programs and $1,211.25 per 3-credit course for master’s-level programs.

Out-Of-Pocket Tuition Possible

All U.S. active-duty servicemembers, National Guard members, and Reservists are eligible for our Freedom Grant® that covers undergraduate and master’s-level tuition above the military TA cap of $250/credit hour. Military family members are also eligible to receive a grant that covers tuition above the military TA cap of $250/credit hour for undergraduate and master’s-level programs.

Tech Fee

Through the Fraternal Order of Police partnership, AMU's $85-per-course technology fee is waived. You still have access to AMU's full suite of online support.


We provide no-cost ebooks for all undergraduate, doctoral, and Freedom Grant®-eligible master’s-level students.

Entrance Exams

No standardized test scores required. Classes start monthly.
