When I was 5 years old I learned that my father had died during active duty in the Marine Corps. From that day, I wanted to help people, and that desire has never diminished. I always had a natural gift to be my best at someone’s worst medical moment. American Military University embraced that ability and paired it with the right education to ensure my patients have the best chance for survival.
AMU recognized that empathy and intuition can’t be taught in a university and that my experience as a volunteer fire fighter was worth something; 43 hours of credits, to be exact. They honored my life experiences, my work experiences, and my certifications, which put me past the bachelor’s degree finish-line faster.
