You Have The Freedom to Pursue Undergraduate and Master’s Education for Zero Out-of-Pocket Tuition*
If you serve in the U.S. Armed Forces, you have the freedom to pursue your undergraduate and master’s education at American Military University for ZERO out-of-pocket tuition. The Freedom Grant® is AMU’s military tuition grant, which now includes master’s-level education, in addition to undergraduate education.
*This applies to active-duty military, National Guard members, and Reservists using TA.
U.S. Active-Duty Servicemembers, National Guard, and Reservists
Through the grant, AMU covers the tuition above the military TA cap of $250 per credit hour for active-duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard members, and Reservists enrolled in undergraduate and master's programs. Plus you’ll receive course textbooks and ebooks at no additional cost through a university book grant, and the technology fee is waived. Join fellow military and start the next chapter of your life without the burden of college debt by advancing your education at AMU.
Spouses/Dependents of U.S. Active-Duty Servicemembers
U.S. active-duty military spouses/dependents are also eligible to receive the tuition grant that caps undergraduate, master’s degree, and graduate certificate tuition at $250 per credit hour (military TA cap). Textbooks and ebooks are also provided through a university book grant at no cost for undergraduate and master’s-level courses.
